Pitch, Hit, & Run – Sunday April 23rd

Mountain View Little League (MVLL) will host a FREE competition on Sun., April 23 called Pitch, Hit, & Run.  Organized by Major League Baseball and sponsored by Scotts, it is a fun, low-stress baseball competition for kids ages 7-14 (age on July 17, 2017).

Participants have the opportunity to run 120 feet, pitch six strikes, and hit three balls from a tee.  The results will be translated to an overall score, and top finishers in each group may advance through other levels of competition (Locals, Sectionals, Team Championships (at Chase Field) and the National Finals (in Miami)).  The National Finals will occur during MLB All-Star Week, and those advancing to the Finals will receive two tickets to the MLB All Star Game.

This local competition will be held on Sunday, April 23 at Scottsdale Ranch Park.  Competitors may arrive anytime between 9:45 AM and 12:30 PM to register and compete (bring copy of birth certificate).

Advanced registration is appreciated and may be completed here:  https://www.pitchhitrun.com/competition_management/participants/register/6922
